Cracovia is one of the few clubs with an exact founding date. Not only the year, month, and day are known, but even the hour of the club's establishment. The club was founded on June 13, 1906, at 6:00 PM. Cracovia is a five-time Polish Champion and won the Polish Cup in 2020. In the same year, Cracovia also triumphed in the Polish SuperCup. Currently, the team plays in Poland's top football league, the Ekstraklasa.

Wisła Kraków is a football club competing in the I league since the 2022/2023 season. It is one of the most decorated Polish clubs in history. The club holds the second position in the all-time Ekstraklasa table. In international competitions, the White Star (a nickname for the team) reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup for National Champions and the Round of 16 in the UEFA Cup. Wisła Kraków was also founded in 1906, just slightly younger than Cracovia.
