The view from the top of the Kościuszko Mound, isn't it amazing?

If you want to see the whole view of the city, check this place out. It is one of the five mounds located in Cracow. Kościuszko Mound was made to honor Tadeusz Kościuszko - a great patriot and leader of the uprising in 1794. It is located 3 km from the city center. It was built by volunteers, people of all ages and completed in 1823. Reaching a height of 35.54m. What's interesting, urns containing soil from the Polish and American battlefields, where Kościuszko fought, were buried inside the mound. Additionally, at the foot of the mound, is located the Kościuszko Garden. It refers to his great passion for gardening. There's also a museum, with a permanent exhibition titled “Kościuszko – a Hero for Our Times”.
