The best park in Krakow. Definitely worth visiting!

 

There are many beautiful parks in Krakow where you can spend time in various ways. Have you heard about the biggest and most recognizable of them? Jordan Park was founded in 1889 and was intended to serve the residents who could use gymnastic equipment, sports fields, and playgrounds. During World War II, the park was destroyed and then renovated, and is still used today. What's more, this park is located near the city center. After an intense day of sightseeing, it will take only 10 minutes on foot to get there and relax. It is located between Błonia Park and the National Museum in Krakow.

If you want to spend a sunny day in Krakow in the open air, you should definitely visit Park Jordana near Krakow's commons. Everybody will find something for themselves. Children can play on the playground full of attractions, and tourists can take advantage of numerous alleys and take a walk surrounded by nature. Beautiful fountains will cool you down even on the hottest day.

An ideal idea would also be to organize a picnic with snacks under the trees. It will be a great alternative for families with kids, but also for young people. Relaxation among greenery will be useful for everyone.

Currently, the park covers an area of about 21.5 ha. Do you prefer active rest? No problem. In this park, there are located many attractions for those who prefer this type of rest in the bosom of nature. You can find there are numerous attractions for fans of active leisure. There are tennis courts, football, and volleyball courts. There is also a large skate park.
